Any diet that a person follows, should consist of a large amount of fruits, vegetables, unrefined grains, beans, lean proteins, as well as mono and polyunsaturated fats. Additionally, losing weight requires reducing the portion sizes of meals that we usually consume. By doing this we allow the digestive system to work at its best, since it is only capable of processing a finite amount of calories within one sitting.
