I do not know if it is because of the web, but there does seem to be many people selling online who think that scamming is a legitimate way of earning money in preference to doing an honest days work, rather than earning a decent living like you and me. I have heard of artists online who turn out not to be who they claim, or internet marketing gurus who are nobodies, but who scam people repeatedly by selling something which is fake or which they do not actually own, but you can try a reverse phone lookup or a full online background check and investigation. You will be able to find public and civil records online. There are all kinds of scams on the internet, and off it, and this of course applies to all kinds of products and services as well. If you have a name or details about someone you can always use the internet to try and find comments about them. The internet is full of positive and negative comments about almost everyone who sells a service of product. Make use of it.
