Old time boxing is one of the coolest things to watch in my opinion. I love seeing the boxers circle around each other waving their fists in front of their faces and I can just imagine what they might be thinking. The new Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downy Jr. looks like it has a great classic boxing scene in it. We aren’t here to talk about Sherlock Holms though, I want to mention that the best punching bags ever made were the old fashioned leather punching bags.
A leather punching bag gives you just enough shock absorption on the hands and it stays in place when you strike it. I don’t care what you fill your leather punching bag with but whenever you strike it you will feel the smooth hide of the animal and it will feel good. The longer you can practice on a punching bag the better quality the bag is.
